I hang up little socks

I fold up little frocks

I wring out little tops

Do you know that I’m a doctor?

I wipe up pools of sick

Your little snots I pick

I change your nappies quick

Do you know that I’m a doctor?

I ‘little piggy’ on your toes

I ‘beep, beep’ on your nose

I ‘tickle, tickle’ your elbows

Do you know that I’m a doctor?

I rock and bounce and shush

And dance and sway and hush

And stroke and sing and shhh

Do you know that I’m a doctor?

You don’t know that I’m a doctor

You just know that I’m your mother

You won’t always be so little

So for now I am no other
